After several years without our own harnesses, we at UP are currently working to change that.
We’re planning a seat harness for beginners and all pilots who prefer to fly without a pod. We already brought a prototype of NANGA to Coupe Icare 2026. It’s a sturdy yet lightweight model (approx. 3.7 kg in size S) with a foam protector and seat board. The fabric is made particularly durable thanks to Dyneema reinforcements. We also plan to add a harness set for tandems (the “UP K2 PILOT” model for the pilot and the “UP K2 PASSENGER” model for the passenger) to our lineup. At the same time, we’re considering a new version of our backpacks to ensure the best possible packing dimensions for transporting both the harness and the paraglider.
NANGA is expected to be available starting in spring 2027, and the tandem harnesses will follow the same schedule. As soon as the details are finalized, the harnesses will have a permanent spot on our website. Tip: Don’t miss any updates - sign up for our newsletter.
