UP Team Pilot Daria Krasnova succeeded with the MERU 2 (EN/LTF D) at the Piedechinche Copa 2024, taking 1st Women and 3rd in Serial Class.
She texted us: "We've been set six tasks in epic strong conditions, such as I have never seen before in Colombia. At 12 pm we were at 2900m with a +6 climb rate. The conditions at Piedechinche were challenging, yet incredibly rewarding, with perfect thermals that made every flight a joy. The UP MERU 2 performed exceptionally well, providing the perfect balance of stability and agility. It handled the diverse flying conditions with ease, and I felt completely in control throughout the competition. The responsiveness of the glider made it a pleasure to fly, especially during those critical moments when every decision counts. (...)"
