We are delighted for the pilots who have achieved some great flying successes this season! Congratulations! Here are a few examples – although of course we are not only celebrating places on the podium, but also the positive feedback from all hobby pilots who have reported their individual progress to us this year.
Ulrich Scheller and Peter Hilger (UP Team pilot) have done particularly well. They took the first two places in the DHV XC 2023/24. Both flew TRANGO X (EN/LTF C). This is a great example of how you can also leave the crowd behind with a C-wing.
The MERU 2 (EN/LTF D) has also proven itself in competitions: Martin Bühler secured first place in the FAI-3 PG 50plus category and second place in the FAI-3 PG Open on XContest 2024. Daria Krasnova (UP team pilot) was successful at the Piedechinche Copa 2024, taking 1st place in the women's and 3rd place in the serial class. Joost Visschedijk (UP Team pilot) won the Trans'Alps 2024 in the southern French Alps.
