Report: "Testival Samoens" in France

The Testival Samoens took place for the fourth consecutive year - this time from April 4 to 6. More than 200 pilots stopped by.

We were particularly pleased to receive so much positive feedback on our new EN/LTF-C two-liner, the TORRE. In summary, we were told: a sense of security even in spring conditions. Very good feedback of the canopy. Turns very well even in tight thermals. Top speed even with a strong headwind.

Otherwise, the LHOTSE X and KANGRI X models, both lightweight 2.5-liners in the B-class, were tested particularly frequently. It was nice to hear that even pilots who are just moving up from the A-class found the LHOTSE X very appealing. Those looking to get more out of the B-class later on but still seeking a lightweight, compact paraglider found the perfect match in our High-B KANGRI X. Meanwhile our Miniwing KAILASH was the clear favorite for a thrilling descent.

Next year, we’d like to draw even more attention - including from international visitors - to this event. Samoens is a great place to fly, but mountain bikers and hikers will also find plenty to enjoy here.
